My name is Leigh and I am an amateur writer.
Hello there, welcome to my little party of 1. I hope you find inspiration, reflection, and mostly laughs here. Rule number 2 in my rule-book: don’t take yourself too seriously. Please don’t take me too seriously, I’m a huge ball of mess with self-disdain and a bit of narcissism sprinkled on top. Hey, ‘I’m a little bit of everything, all rolled into one’ (I sang that part as I typed it).
I’m taking the first step and writing about what I know. I know my life, and I know survival. I know pain, suffering, and sickness firsthand. I know motherhood, love, and compassion. I have seen evil and have overcome tons of difficult circumstances. Here I am going to talk about some, or all of what I know. I hope you stay and join me on this literary ride of self-discovery.
